Maulana Shibli Nu'mani (r.a.) is well-known as the author of the celebrated
and widely read biography of the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, (p.b.u.h.),
under the title of 'Sirat-al-Nabi.' Another of his authoritative
works is a biography of the life of Imam Abu Hanifah (r.a.) under the title
of 'Sirat-al-Nu'man.' The article, 'My Love,
and My Choice' on this website is based upon excerpts from this latter
book.
